Promoted by the MATIA Foundation and the INGEMA Foundation, the Matia Ageing Innovation Cluster aspires to become the main European benchmark in aging over the next few years. A wide-reaching project which will tackle the problems of aging from many different areas and perspectives, mainly aiming to achieve better wellbeing for the elderly, strengthening their personal achievements as much as possible. However, the Matia Cluster will also benefit the rest of society as it will help to develop a whole new sector of scientific and economic activity, encouraging innovation at all levels.
